NeedleMark™ Dot Peen Systems

With our NeedleMark™ Dot Peen marking systems, the mark is created by vertically oscillating a carbide indenting pin, which can be moved along the x and y axes using two stepping motors. This results in a dense series of points, forming an uninterrupted line. |
With our NeedleMark™ marking systems, products with a wide variety of shapes and materials can be permanently and economically marked at high speed. Any text, figures, symbols, or logos can be reproduced. Text can be positioned at any angle, or on a curve.
Our Dot Peen systems have been used successfully for many years in the aviation, tooling, automotive, and steel industries.

Table-Mounted
For easily positionable products, the table-mounted model is preferable. The height of the work piece is adjusted by a hand-operated wheel on the fixed column or an electrical height adjustment. |

Handheld
If the product is difficult to handle due to its size or weight, we recommend the use of the mobile handheld markers. The marking head is positioned onto the product and then started with buttons integrated into the handle. |

A magazine feeder for nameplates are available to dot peen mark nameplates efficiently. The nameplates can be of many different sizes.

Electrolytic Chemical Etching Marking Systems

The electrolytic marking system is based on a chemical etching process where the image on a stencil is transferred to an electrically conductive product by the action of electrolyte and electricity. The chemical etching process has the advantage of being easy to use and inexpensive, while still giving a high-quality mark. Chemical etching metal is widely used for cutlery, tools, medical instruments, sanitary hardware, ball bearings, and many other products. |

The artwork can be sent by fax, disk, CD, or e-mail. We guarantee long stencil life and short delivery times. |

If you want to produce short-life stencils at your facility, we can supply various pieces of equipment and software. For the creation of short-life stencils we supply: software, cassettes, and a stencil printer. We offer various solutions, from in-house permanent stencil creation to a small desktop or handheld unit.
Our electrolytes have been developed by our parent chemical etching manufacturer, Östling, and allow sharp contrast marks, short mark times, and perfect marking depth. A great number of our electrolytes are corrosion-free, and when they are not, we can supply a suitable neutralyte as required.
